Property Description of Zinc Oxide through Calcination Process:
Zinc oxide of white-yellowish or yellowy powder through calcination process can be classified into two types: industrial grade and feed grade. The industrial grade zinc oxide has small foreign-matter amount, large bulk specific weight, large specific surface area, mainly applicable to such industries as enamel and rubber, etc. its main specifications contain 98%, 98.5%, 99%, and 99.5% etc. and its annual production capacity is 5,000 tons. The feed grade zinc oxide has advantages such as high zinc content, low lead, cadmium & arsenic contents, its zinc oxide content verifies from 90% to 99% and its annual production capacity is 4,000 tons.
Uses: it is most applicable to the production of advanced ceramics, ceramic tile, mosaic, sanitary wares and enamel products, especially applicable to the production of glaze and glass solvent. It can also be used as active agent in rubber production and microelement for accelerating animal growth in feed additive.
