Common epoxy floor coating/paint


Description of epoxy floor coating/paint:
JD1000 Epoxy Polyester Finish is a two-component solvent polyester finish. It can be applied in the cold and  moist environment, especially in the wet and humid areas. The coating is hard and wear-resistant. Large range of colors is available for the customer’s reference and it is applicable to the floor in the light industrial workshop, warehouse, etc. 
  
Advantages of epoxy floor coating/paint:
1. Beautiful, seamless, dustproof and easy to clean.
2. Have good bonding with the solid base, small shrinkage with good abrasion resistance and durability.
3. Have good corrosion-resistance to the general chemicals.
4. Nice appearance, rapid construction and economy.
5. Applicable to the moderate load.

 

Application instructions of epoxy floor coating/paint:
1. Surface preparation:Correct substrate preparation is critical for optimum performance. Surfaces should be sound, clean, dry and free from loose particles, oil, grease, and all other contaminants;
2. Primer: Mix JD-D10 A and JD-D10B according to 1:1 by weight, the reference dosage is 0.15kg/SQM.The main purpose of this primer is to seal the substrate completely and avoid air-bubbles in the body coat. According to the oil absorption of substrate, a second sealer coat may be required. The paint should be stirred evenly according to the mixing ratio, then apply directly. Using roller and waiting for 8 hours to recoat.  Inspection standards for the primer: even film with certain brightness.
3. Undercoat: Mix JD-D10 A and JD-D10B according to 1:1 ration and then add appropriate quartz sand according to the mixing ratio and then apply. After hardness, recoat till the thickness of the mortar is 0.8mm. Waiting for 12 hours to continue the next process. Inspection standards for the undercoat: Non-sticky to hand, no softening, no nail print if scratch on the surface. 
4. Putty: Grind with 325# sand paper and remove the ash. Mix JD-D10A and JD-D10B according to 1:1 ratio and then add appropriate quartz powder and then apply directly with drawknife. Wait for 12 hours to continue the next process. Inspection standards for the putty: Non-sticky to hand, no softening, no nail print if scratching on the surface.
5. Finish coating: Grind with 325# sand paper and remove the ash. Mix JD-1000A and JD-1000B according to ratio and spray or roll for twice. Each layer must be applied in an interval of 12 hours.  
6. Maintenance: 5-7 days. Don’t use or wash by water and other chemicals.
