Indole 3-Cabinol, also known as I3C
It is a metabolite found in cruciferous vegetables like broccoli, cauliflower, kale, cabbage and Brussels sprouts. I3C forms diindolylmethane (DIM) in the stomach. It works by supporting Phase I and Phase II enzymes that the liver uses to detoxify undesirable by-products of metabolism, and other xenobiotics.
