Organoleptic: odorless.
Solubility: It slightly soluble in water and soluble in dilute hydrochloric acid, nitric acid, acetic acid but insoluble in ethanol. It’s relative density is 2.32 and stable in the air.
Application: It’s not only calcium nutrition enhancer but also used as phosphorus fortifier, so it is usually used in the food both calcium and phosphorus supplement. Besides, it’s also used as buffering agent, loosening agent, flour modifier, nutritional supplement, emulsifier, curing agent, antioxidant, stabilizer, quality improver, etc.
