Hooped Cable RGO(Reciprocating Gait Orthosis)

RGO is a walking brace for people with little or no control of their lower extremities often due to neuromuscular disorders or injuries. The device is ideally suited for patients with spina bifida, traumatic paraplegia, muscular dystrophy, and osteogenisis imperfecta.

Installation Condition:

Spinal cord plane location (Below T4)

Good stability of spine

Smooth joint activity (Hip flexion and contracture ROM within

20°,knee flexion and contracture ROM from 5°to 10°)

Strong upper-limb (It might not be suitable for whose upper limb is amputated or poor recovery of muscle after fracture

Heavy weight undesirable

No severe spasm

Heterotopic ossification without limiting movement

Patients should have faith in themselves, and their family member would like to coordinate with doctor
