Sulforaphane(SFN) from leaves
Sulforaphane(SFN) is an antioxidant and stimulators of natural detoxifying enzymes that was identified in broccoli seeds by scientists at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine in Baltimore, MD.1 it’s highest concentrations in broccoli seeds ,which acts by inducing a series of proteins termed phase 2 detoxification enzymes, and act as scavengers for cancer-causing molecules before they can damage DNA and promote cancer.
The antioxidant action of sulforaphane helps to fight high blood pressure. A study by the Tokyo University of Agriculture has shown who eat about 100 g of broccoli sprouts daily during one week had reduces levels of cholesterol.
