Conical Cocurrent Twin-Screw CPVC Granulator was recently successfully researched and applied for national patent product (patent application No.:2005101189153). On the base of the advantages of high extruding pressure and good plastic performance, this machine has reached the effects of higher mixing and higher plasticization. The result of identification showed: the output of this product is as twice as other granulators existing on the market, and the consumption of electricity saves more than 30%. Besides, it has the advantages of smaller noise. The barrel is specially designed for CPVC material, which can make the screws service longer. Brief Introduction of Structure
4.1 This machine is made up of electric motor, speed-reducing box, dividing box, feeding system, screws, barrel, stander, cutter, and heating and cooling devices.
4.2 The electric motor can change frequency and govern speed during 0-50HZ, reaching electrodeless speed-change. Passing through shaft joint, speed-reducing box and dividing box, the screws running speed is 5-62rpm, which meets the requirements of producing various plastic products. Speed-reducing box uses involute gear to transmit. The shaft joint inputs torque, then divides the torque into two screws through dividing box, making sure the equal division of the torque.
4.3 The gear in speed-reducing box is made of strong alloy with carburizing steel. Use carburizing steel to smooth the teeth of the gear through the method of quenching, so that the teeth become harder and the transmitting noise becomes smaller. Small conical helical gear in dividing box is 20GrMnTi. After specially processed,the precision and hardness become higher,so that the service life of screws becomes longer.
4.4 The lubrication way of speed-reducing box and dividing box is gumming.
4.5 The screws are connected to dividing box through coupling shaft housing and shaft joint. A couple of screws are respectively named left screw and right screw. Their rotating direction is the same,so the plastic performance becomes better. The screw thread is divided into 5 segments, that is, feeding, melting, compressing, exhausting and measuring. The lead of screw thread and the depth of spiral flute of each segment are different. The different capacities of spiral flutes meet the technological requirements, such as compressing, exhausting and plastic performing.
4.6 Screw and barrel are made of 38CrMoAlA, which become hard, wear-resisting and anti-corrosive by precision work and nitriding. The surface of easy-damaged screw is covered by alloy, making the service life of screw longer.
4.7 In terms of heating segment, the outside circle of barrel uses the aluminum electric heating circle to heat and wind to cool. The temperature of each segment is measured by thermo-element and controlled by temperature controller, adjusting to the technological requirements.
4.8 Quota feeding system consists of electric motor, screws and so on. Frequency converter changes the running speed of screws to meet the requirements of different extruding quantities.
