The ultrasonic welding is through high-frequency vibration of tens of thousands of cycles per second to make high-speed heat frictions of tens of thousands of times per second between contacting plastic part and plastic part or plastic part and metal part to weld both parts on a plastic subassembly. It has two weld methods including direct weld and conductive weld.

Direct weld: firstly make objects such as wire or tape overlap each other and fix them on fixture of plastic welder, exert energy transformation (HORN) and direct sonic wave vibration effect to weld parts.

Conductive weld: during welding, allow a distance from ultrasonic source, and complete weld through ultrasonic vibration conduction.
