YT28 Rock Drill&Pneumatic Rock Drills-YT28&Air Leg Rock Drill-YT28 Production Description .

◊ It is a new type of efficient drilling equipment. It is widely used in tunnel heading and blasting holes drilling in mining. It is also indispensable equipments in metallurgy, coal mining, railway construction, transportation projects, water conservancy and national defense building.  

◊ YT28 air-leg rock drill has wide applications. It is applied to drilling holes horizontally or with inclination on rocks with middle and high hardness (f=8-18),and drilling boreholes which are perpendicular to the rock face of roof. The diameter of the blasting holes is usually 34-42 mm, and the depth of the effective and economical holes can be 5m. This machine can also work with different air legs - FT160BDshort leg, FT160BC long leg, or FT160S double legs, to fit in different sizes of tunnels. Besides, it can also work when connected to bore jacklegs or drilling lathes.

◊ YT28 uses supporting oiler of FY200B, which has a shell made of polycreosotester, allowing for observing and controlling the volume of oil to ensure good lubricating effect

Operation & Maintenance:

Besides observance of the general safety precautions for rock drilling operations, the following points should be attended to:

◊  The Rifle nut and the piston are left-hand threaded. Cautions should be taken during assembling and Disassembling.

◊ Before connecting the drill to the air and water supplies, check carefully if the wire clips are entirely and correctly set in the respective semicircular grooves of the back-head. Check frequently the wear on the clips and timely replace the worn-out or broken one to avoid the scooting out of the swivel or the connector when the air or water is on

◊ Before operation, fill the line oiler with lubrication oil to the required level. The drill should not work without lubrication oil(recommended lube oil N46 and N22, Chinese National Standard GB443-84)

◊ After operation, first turn off the water, run the drill lightly for a few seconds, blow out the residual water, drops to prevent the parts from being corroded.
