1) This product is mainly used for high value horticultural crop production where the extra benefits of low salt index and sulphate supply offset the higher cost compared to Potassium Chloride.

2) This product is ideal for crops sensitive to chloride and to salt. A low salt index also avoids the plant taking up excess water, thus potentially improving the plants' resistance to disease.
