Description

Circular compacted stranded copper or Aluminium conductor, PVC insulated, two core assembled together with non-woven filler and extruded with PVC outer sheath. 

Construction

1. Conductor

    Plain circular compacted stranded copper or Aluminium conductor

2. Conductor screen

    Extruded layer of compound

3. Insulation

    PVC rated at 70°c

4. Color for core identification

    Red, yellow, blue and green tape shall be applied in the part of insulation screen

5. Assembly

    Two screened cores are laid up together, if necessary filled with non-woven    

material     compactible with insulation and covered with a layer of PVC sheath.

6. Outer sheath

    PVC types ST2 to IEC color black

Application

These cables are generally suitable for direct burial or installation on trays or ducts

NOTE

1. the maximum operating temperature of core shall not exceed 70°c when the cable is used for long period.

2. the temperature of cores shall not exceed 160°c

at short circuit for 5 seconds.

3.the ambient temperature should not be below 0°c during installation.
