SOLUTION

As FTTH/PON developing rapidly, PON power meter played an important part in major FTTH/PON deployments worldwide. Not like normal optical power meter, the simultaneous upstream/downstream measurement technique via a pass-through connection is mandatory for PON power meter because the time-division multiple access technique used in PON make ONU working in burst mode.
