 Oil-water-gas three-phase separator is one of the most common production devices in oilfield.  Mixture of oil, gas and water entering into the pre-degas chamber at high speed is separated from a large amount of associated gas of crude oil under cyclone separation and gravity.  Oil-water mixture degassed flows into the distributor and water chamber through a duct for washing and demulsification in an active water layer containing deemulsifier to regulate flow and reduce Reynold number in the liquid.  After coalescence and rectification, the liquid are further separated and settled in the settling chamber, and the degassed crude oil overflows the baffle into into the oil chamber.  Then the oil is metered and drained.  The water phase enters into the water chamber through the duct under balance pressure.
