Screen printing information:

 Screen Printing is a process achieved by passing ink through a fine mesh screen. Each screen is "blocked out" or "burnt" with a one-colour image, making something resembling a stencil for the ink to pass through. Additional screens are made for each colour.

Screen Printing produces great quality, good definition and very durable prints. Once screens have been setup, they can be re-used for future printing (repeats).

The price is determined by the number of colours in the chosen print. The number of  colours is equivalent to the number of screens which, in turn, equates to the number of setups required, making it a cost-effective process for longer runs, or runs that will be repeated in future.

The garments are printed one colour/one screen at a time (usually lightest inks to darkest inks) and are "cured", or dried, by being subjected to heat or UV light between each colour application.
