Aluminum Hand Pumps

CAUTION

Hand Pumps is designed to be used ONLY with gasoline, kerosene, light oil, or other non-volatile/non-corrosive liquids. Do NOT use this pump with, chemical solvents, acid and alkaline fluids, or any other liquid that will produce corrosive effects ir unsafe chemical reactions with aluminum.

 

Hand Pumps is a hand-operated, self-priming pump designed to move fluids (such as kerosene, light oils, and other non-volatile liquids) from barrels with a 2" NPT bung at a rate of 10 gallons per minute.

 

Use the information in Figures 1-2 to inventory your shipment.

Assembly

Thread the gooseneck pipe into the top of the pump assembly.

Note: The threads on the pipe segments are designed to form an adequate seal when tightened by hand. Over-tightening may dam-age these threads.

Thread the pump input standpipe into the bottom on the pump assembly, then slide the two-part bung adapter onto the standpipe so that its threads are facing down.Thread the remaining two standpipes together, then thread them onto the input standpipe.install the filter screen onto the bottom of the assembled standpipe.Optionally, fit the expandable output flex-hose over the end of the gooseneck pipe.

 

Operation

Insert the standpipe into the bung of the barrel, then thread the lower part of the bung adapter onto the bung-hand tighten only.Slide the top of the lower part and hand-tighten it to secure the standpipe in place.When ready to pump, rotate the handle clockwise to begin the flow of fluid.

 

Maintenance& Storage

After use, wipe the outside surfaces of the pump assembly dry, then store it in a well-ventilated, protected area.

 

There are no serviceable parts inside the pump housing.
