QKSC startup reactor
Starting current is very high when AC asynchronous motor starts under rated voltage.Usually several times higher than rated current.(5~7 times normally) To reduce starting current and avoid impacts on network, the common way of starting AC asynchronous motor is by reducing voltage, usually using reactors or auto-transformers. The starting period of AC moto is very short( several seconds to two miniutes generally), after finishing starting, reactors or auto-transformers will be switched. This modal reactor is designed according to high voltage asychronous motor starting characteristics, matching motor power range is 220~1400KW.
1. Iron core adopts imported high-quality silicon steel sheet, the stud is divided into even segments by air gaps, which adopts epoxy boards for intervals, ensure that the air gaps of reactor have no change in the operation.
2.To make sure that the silicon steel sheets combine firmly and possess anticorrosive property, we use excellent quality silicon steel sheet end face adhesive, which also reduce the running noise dramatically.
3. Epoxy resin coated fiberglass, as the main insulation material of the coin, is heated and after solidifying, it is varnished with high temperature resistance of electrical insulating varnishes in vacuum environment. Thus the coin has very good insulation property and mechanical strength, it can endure high current impulse and hot&cold shock.
CAUTION: WHEN THE REACTOR STARTS UP TIME REACHES TWO MINUTES,( ONE TIME OR SEVERAL TIMES IN TOTAL), IT SHOULD COOL DOWN FOR SIX HOURS BEFORE RUNNING AGAIN.
