PVC-coated polyester parka. Inside quilted lining with 3M Thinsulate™ padding removable by zip. Fixed hood which can be folded in the collar fastened with velcro strip. Front zip fastener under velcroed-strip double flap. 1 pocket closed by zip under front flap. 2 flapped and zipped chest pockets. 2 flapped and zipped low pockets. 1 zipped internal pocket. 1 patcheded pocket closed by velcro on the removable lining. Seams reinforced with thermobonded stripes. Waist and bottom tightened by elastic drawcord with stop drawcord. Elasticated cuffs with velcroed tightening strap. Polyester polar wool lined collar.

Instructions for use:
Winter garment (class 1 to water vapour resistance) foreseen for a good protection against cold until -26°C during 8 hours and while a moderated activity . In certain circumstances, clothing belonging to class 1 can be worn only for one limited time.Warning : thermal insulation and minimal temperatures of use were determined in combination with a standard underwear type B according to ENV342. They are only valid if the garment is worn in combination with a garment of thermal insulation at least equivalent.
Ambient temperature conditions for thermal equilibrium at various activity levels and for various exposure times (minimal temperatures are provided for information only) :

(1) Very light activity: metabolism of 90 W/m² (standing still)

These values were set in the absence of wind and with radiation temperature equal to ambient air temperature. Adequate protection for hand, feet and head must be provided for these areas. These values were obtained with the removable sleeves fitted and the garment closed.
Limits to use:
Do not use this clothing outside of the scope of use defined in the instructions above. Before putting on this garment, check that it's not dirty or worn, it would be less effective. Wearing closed. This garment contains no known carcinogenic or toxic substances, or substances which may cause allergies in sensitive people. The following Table is a guide to illustrate the effect of water vapour permeability on the recommended continuous wearing time of a garment in different ambient temperatures. Table valid for medium physiological strain (M = 150 W/m2), standard-man, at 50 % relative humidity. and wind speed Va = 0,5 m/s. With effective ventilation openings and/or break periods the time for wearing can be prolonged. (*) For clothing having a class 1 in Ret (evaporative resistance), the wearing time must be limited according to the temperature of the environment of work in accordance with the table above.

To be stored in its original packing in a dry place, sheltered from sun light.
Instructions for cleaning / maintenance:
Maximum temperature 30°C. Mechanical action much reduced, rincing normal, spinning reduced. Do not use chlorine-based bleach. Do not iron, steaming and steam treatments are not allowed. Do not dry-clean, no stain removal with solvents. Do not tumble dry.
