Dynamic motion sensor measure resulting tilt angle of ship between heave displacement and vertical & horizontal weaving movement

 Principle
Generally, the wave can be regarded as the result by overlapping innumerous sine waves with different amplitudes, frequencies, phases and directions. When water mass points on wave surface vibrate periodically, all water mass points possess definite vertical acceleration at some instant. Even if these water mass points on wave surface are affected by wind wave, they have fixed tilt angle relative to horizontal plane. When water mass points move, corresponding vertical acceleration and tilt angle of wave surface change accordingly. Through double integral of vertical acceleration of water mass points, heave displacement of wave surface can be obtained. The tilt angle of ship can be measured by two mutually perpendicular angle sensors on horizontal plane inside this instrument.
