23% Lithium metasilicate solution
Properties: Lithium metasilicate is colorless,odorless, transparent or semi-transparent liquid, pH is around 11. Relative density: 1.18±0.01 (25°C), viscosity: 25Pa.S (25°C); insoluble in water or organic solvents; miscible with basic aqueous solution.
Use: self-curing inorganic zinc-rich paint: it is used as anti-rust paint for steel and iron; good resistance to corrosion, solvnets and weathering.
Lithium metasilicate, after being modified with organic latex, can be used as anti-rust and building coating; used in the surface coating of metals, concrete and mortar. Lithium metasilicate solution can be ued as adhesive for many materials
