75% Ferrosilicon

Ferrosilicon is composed of iron and silicon iron alloy. Ferrosilicon is silicon iron alloys that made of coke, steel scrap, quartz (or silica) by iron smelting furnace. Because of silicon and oxygen is easy to form new silica, so often used in electric steelmaking when for deoxidation agent, at the same time as SiO2 generation give off a lot of heat is beneficial for improving the deoxidization molten steel temperature when deoxidizing. 

Meanwhile, the ferrosilicon alloy elements can be added as agent, widely used in low-alloy structural steel, spring steel, bearing steel, heat-resistant steel and electrical silicon steel among the ferrosilicon  normally used as a reducing agent in ferroalloy production and chemical industry.
