Introduction of solar charge controller:

It uses the advanced programmable microchip and the specialized software. It is an multi-purpose intellectual controller which based on the scientific software designs and the reliable hardware technologies, and provides novel appearance, complete functions, high performance and reliable quality. TYN-II P controller can be applicable to all kinds of solar street lamps and solar power supply system.

 

The functions and features of solar charge controller:

1. Accumulator cell management: ensure the best state (charge and discharge) of accumulator cell. By avoiding the state of over-charge or over-discharge, assure batterys expected life-span

2. Multi controlfunctions: Light control(sunlight intensity), time control(for lamp or output of electrical appliance), temperature control(automatically adjust controlparameters along with the change in environment temperature),etc..

3. Automatically initiate in the evening, lights on before midnight (time adjustable) and lights off after midnight and during daytime. Time of turning on the lights can be changed by setting on the panel.

4. Data collection and Digital display: Through many circuit A/D mode-data change circuit in the microchip , automatically collect data of work parameters of solar power system(voltage of accumulator cell, PV-voltage of solar battery, time of turning on lights before midnight, etc.) and manual cycle display through Digital tube

5. Automatic temperature complement control: automatically change the value of control parameters of battery management program, so as to prevent the low charge in winter or over charge in summer.
6. Automatic protections: Reversed connect protection, Accumulator battery open circuit protection, prevent anti-charge protection in midnight, output short circuit protection, and etc..

7. Automatically switch to City power: When the system detects the battery voltage is below 10.8V or 21.6V, the system will automatically switch electricity supply to city power. When the system detects the battery voltage is higher than 11.8V or 22.6V, the system will automatically switch electricity supply to accumulator battery.

over-discharge recover point: 12.3V ± 0.1V or 24.6V ± 0.2V

6. altitude for use: less than 5000 meters

 

External connections:

1. Access controller, you must first connect the battery, to be connected to solar batteries and the city electricity, and finally connecting street.
2. Disconnect the controller must be disconnected from city electricity, solar batteries, and then disconnect the street, and finally disconnect the battery.

Notes for Connection:

1. Do not reverse connect the anode and cathode of solar batteries, accumulator cells and lamps.
2. Do not connect city electricity to any terminal and do not connect accumulator cells to the terminal of solar batteries.

3. Do not connect regulator n. or any charger to the terminal of solar battery.44. Please choose multi-strand copper wire with over Φ2.0mm for connection, and tighten the screws at all time.


Instructions:

1.Press down the system setting button for 5 seconds, after digit LED twinkles, loosen the button, presses once to change the number every time until the number demonstrated on digit LED equals the number of mode chose from table by user. The establishment finishes when digit LED stops twinkling. Notice: when the 6 or 6. and 7 or 7. are applied ,the two output routes were synchronous controlled. It needs to reset 1-5 or 1.-5. to access two routes independent control. The number can be observed every time LED lightens up while pressing the button. When 6 or 6. and 7 or 7 are observed, the demonstrated number will not change. When 1-5 and 1.-5 are observed, the first 3 seconds indicate the setting of first group of loads, after 3 seconds indicate the setting of second group of loads.

2. 0 The pure light control: when there is no sunlight, luminous intensity fall to the initiating spot. After the controller confirming signal of startup in 10 minutes delay, the load start to work. When there is sunlight, luminous intensity rise to initiating spot. After the controller confirming the signal of output turnoff in 10 minutes delay, the load stop working.

3. 1-5 light control+ time delay: startup process as previous. The load will shut down after work to the reserved time. Time setting table as follows.

4. 6-6. General Mode of control: this mode disables light control, time control, output time delay and related functions, reserves all the rest functions. Controller under this mode is used as general controller.

5. 7-7. Debug mode: applies to system debugging. It is similar to pure light controlmode, which only disabled 10 minutes delay and retains all the other functions. Load connects when there is light signal and disconnect when not, which is convenient for examining the system establishment

6. Explanation of output mode: The LED digital tubes display the reserved number of mode, if the demonstrated number is discrete (0-5), then the corresponding load is 1. If it is a number with decimal point  (0. To 5.), then the load is 2. 6 or 6. are set as the manual switch mode universal control, 7 or 7. are set as the debug mode of pure light control.

7. Inductive and condensive load are prohibited.
