1. Overview

The SOLAR ENERGY KIT (UPDATE) is a small solar power delivery device. The device uses a 6V Solar Power Controller enabled by a Micro-Computer Control (MCC) core control unit for Ni-MH battery charge and discharge control, with over-voltage, over-discharge, and over-current control systems.

 

2. Operation description

         Place the Solar Panel such as it can receive the strongest possible sunlight.

        The SOLAR ENERGY KIT is in charging state when the charging LED light indicator is red. When the charging indicator light turns to green, the SOLAR ENERGY KIT is fully charged and ready to use. Once charging is complete (when the LED light indicator is green), disconnect the Solar Panel connector cable from the control box.

        How to use the USB light bulb: Connect the light bulb USB cable to the USB port with a light bulb symbol located on the control box, then switch the SOLAR ENERGY KIT to “ON” position.

         To charge the cellphone, connect the cellphone charging cable to the output USB port on the SOLAR ENERGY KIT (see cellphone symbol located on the SOLAR ENERGY KIT ports area).

         Make sure you locate the correct charging tip for the cellphone you wish to charge.

          The light bulb and cellphone charger can be operated simultaneously while the SOLAR ENERGY KIT is charging.

 

3. Included in the SOLAR ENERGY KIT (UPDATE) packaging:

          1 x Solar cell panel with cable (3M)

          1 x Black control box

          2 x Waterproof LED light with cable (4M)

          1 x USB converter for cellphone charging adaptor tips: (NOKIA N70 Series, Sony Ericsson K750 Series, MOTO V3 Series, V8/MICRO USB, LG Chocolate, iPhone/iPod,Samsung D800/1900)

4. Warning!

          Charge the kit fully for a whole day before the first-time use.

          The control box should be charged at least once a month, and each time it should be fully charged at least 6 hours under direct sunlight.

          The control box can also be charged by a DC convertor with an output 9V DC. If charging at a higher voltage the control box storage capacity will be damaged.

          The control box should always be placed in a dry and shady place.

          Keep away from fire or any corrosives.

          Always keep the solar panel surface clean and in good condition.

          Any actions such as throw, drop, fall, knock are all prohibited.
