Cold work tool steel A88 is a multi-purpose cold work tool steel. It has good anti-hybrid / abrasive wear and anti-collapse angle. After the high-temperature, it can have high hardness (> 60HRC). Therefore, for molds cut with a wire-cutting from a high hardness (> HRC60) large cross-section, can reduce the risk of cracking.

In addition, high-intensity matrix is particularly suited to do the surface treatment such as nitriding or PVD.

Applications:
