Property:
barium sulfate-Colorless orthorhombic crystal, amorphous white powder in appearance, gravity of 4.5(15·C) , good dispersion, stable chemical propeties, not dissolvable in diluteacid, dilute alkali, organic solvent, or water, but dissolvablein hot concentrated sulfuric acid.
Usage:
barium sulfate-I category: mainly used in powder coat industry, and the barium sulfate embodied characteristics such as narrow distribution of particle diameter, thin painting membrane, even surface, and good light reflection etc.
barium sulfate-II category: mainly used in industries such as dye, printing ink, rubber, storage battery, and plastic etc. They can efficiently enhance mechanical properties of project plastic, top-grade electricity insulation plastic and rubber products; they show good performance of resisting radiation.
