What Hot Tub Cover Is Best For Me?

Finding the right cover for you and your spa is not as hard as you might make it. Your cover should be in direct correlation with where you live and what climate you are in. In you live in a warm area you are not going to buy an thick insulated cover because it is simply heavy, bulky and is not needed due to the warm weather. Same for the opposite if you live in a cold area your not going to want a tonneau cover which will let all the warmth out making your electricity bill sky rocket and your parts inside the hot tub work harder then they need to.

For warmer climate areas I suggest you go with strictly what your surroundings are like. Ask yourself questions like do you have kids?  Do you get a lot of blown debris everywhere? If you have young kids you should definitely have their safety in mind when buying a hot tub cover. You will need something firm and sturdy in case one day they decide they want to play near it ensuring they will not fall in or have some sort of mishap. An insulated or aluminum cover would suffice for this situation

Now don’t go spending a huge amount on your insulated find a think but sturdy good quality cover that isn’t going to rot in a few months/years. Investing in a good cover is worth it in the long wrong.

For colder climate areas you must and I stress the “must” get a good quality thick cover. It may be pricey at the time but you will notice it cutting down on your electricity bill immediately and you will have a big smile on your face when you do.
