Chapter 1. General introduction
SCD508 series intelligent temperature controller can be applied in the control and
alarm in range of -200~1750°C. It can used in the controller and alarm of pressure,
discharge, liquid level and humidity etc, parameters when fitted with corresponding
transmitter.
The key features include:
1. Manifold signals including signals of thermocouple, resistance thermometer detector
(RTD), direct voltage, direct current, resistance can be input freely.
2. The input uses digital correction system; there is non-linear correction form of
communal used thermocouple and resistance thermometer detector.
3. Freely changeable with on-off control or PID control with configurable direct reverse
action modes. It has the self-tuning function of PID parameter.
4.Control output supports relay contact switch, solid-state relay (SSR) driving voltage, and
single-phase thyristor zero-crossing trigger signal etc.
5. One way of programmable alarm outputs is provided with a number of alarm modes
including higher -limit, lower limit. In addition, the alarm feature can also be
temporarily disabled when applying the power.
6. Comprehensive self-detection and protection-- In case of error, it provides automatic

quantity in a clear and complete manner upon ordering.
For example SCD508-A110-0~1200°C
shows that it is a digital indicating controller with panel dimension of 96×96mm,
PID control relay contact switch output, one absolute value higher limit
alarm relay output channel, input signal of K-division TC and measuring
range of 0~1200°C.
