Thrust ball bearings can handle loads in the axial direction only. Bearing rings mounted on the shaft are called shaft washers, and those mounted in the housing are called housing washers. Both washers contain raceways for the balls.

Type:

1 The single direction design comprises two rings, referred to as shaft and housing washers and a single ball and cage assembly.

2 The double direction design, on the other hand, comprises three washers and two ball and cage assemblies. The ball and cage assemblies of the double direction type are separated by the shaft washer.

Uses of the product:

The thrust ball are used in lathe centers, automobile clutches, reducer and so on. The double direction angular contact thrust ball bearings are suitable for machine toll spindles, while the single are used to support ball screws.
