    Tungsten and molybdenum have the characters of high melting point, high strength at elevated temperature, low electrical resistivity, lower thermal expansion, low work function of electron emission and low vapor pressure. These characters make tungsten and molybdenum used widely in high temperature field. In vacuum or deoxidize atmosphere, the highest using temperature for tungsten crucibleis is 2450ºC, for molybdenum is 1700ºC.
