The C-Series Thermal Expansion Valve (TXV) is designed and optimized specifically for use in R-410A systems, a critical difference from traditional TXVs as 2010 approaches. The C-Series TXV features the most precise superheat control in the industry, resulting in greatly enhanced compressor protection. This and other benefits from Emerson’s leading edge manufacturing process, result in a high-performance, extremely reliable thermal expansion valve. When combined with the Copeland Scroll compressor, the C-Series TXV helps make up the most energy-efficient R-410A systems available. It joins the EKZ Filter Drier in the R-410A optimized product lineup of Emerson valves, controls and system protectors.
Other key features of the C-Series TXV include:
1.best in class reverse flow capacity;
2.adjustable or non-adjustable superheat;
3.newly designed power element and charge;
4.hermetic leak-free construction;
5.stainless steel power element eliminates corrosion and prevents valve failure;
6.compact size allows installation in limited spaces;
7.balanced port design compensates for changes in operating pressures due to varying ambients or widely
varying evaporator loads;
8.suitable for Bi-flow applications;
9.Bi-flow capability allows one valve to control the superheat in both cooling
and heating modes for heat pump applications;
10.internal check valve allows reverse flow for heat pump applications, eliminating the need for external
piping and external check valve;
11.ODF connections standard;
12.maximum working pressure:700psig(48bar);
