Raw water pretreatment system

Pretreatment system of reverse osmosis water treatment equipment is usually composed of quartz sand filter, activated carbon (AC) filter and polypropylene fiber (PP) filter. As to high hardness of the raw water, the water treatment machine has to be also equipped with water softener which is filled with softening resin. PP filters can be efficient in removing above 5 µm mechanical particles impurities in the raw water, rust and large colloidal material pollutants, protecting subsequent filter, it has the characteristics of absorbing large amount of pollution substances and low price. AC activated carbon filter can be efficient adsorption of residual chlorine ,part organic matter, colloid, protect the polyamide reverse osmosis composite membrane from residual chlorine oxidation. Softening resin can remove the most of the raw water calcium magnesium ions, prevent subsequent RO membrane surface scaling and blocking, improve the recovery rate of water.

Reverse osmosis purification system

Reverse osmosis (abbreviation RO) is a new membrane separation technology of the pressure difference as driving force, with high degree of separation, simple and efficient characteristics. Reverse osmosis membrane "aperture" is small to nanometer (1 nm = 10-9 m),scanning electron microscopy can’t see any small “filter” holes at the surface. When the operation pressure is higher than the osmotic pressure of raw water, water molecules can go through the RO semipermeable membrane, produce pure water, however, a large amount of inorganic ions, organic matter, colloid, microbe and pyrogen are withheld from RO membranes.

Usually when raw water conductivity < 400 µs/cm, two stages of RO pure water conductivity ≤5μs/cm. For area of raw water with high conductivity, in order to save replacement cost of the follow-up mixed bed ion exchange resin, improve water quality, customers can consider to choose two stages reverse osmosis purification system, two stages RO pure water conductivity is about 1 ~ 5 u S/cm, at the same time, raw water quality can influence pure water quality.

UV sterilizer(optional)

UV sterilizer adopts 254nm wavelength UV radiation to sterilize bacteria, which can effectively destroy microbes DNA molecules and let them form TT polymer so that they can't be breeding any more,  this is a safe and effective method which is commonly used for sterilizing for air and water.
