The Multi-head Weigher is a high-speed, accurate and reliable weighing machine used in both food and non-food industries.

Structure:

How it Works:

Product is fed to the top of the weigher. A dispersion/feeder system passes it to pool hoppers. Each pool hopper drops product into a weigh hopper beneath it (as soon as the weigh hopper becomes empty).

The weigher’s computer determines which combination of weigh hoppers contains the weight closest to the target weight, and opens all the hoppers of this combination.

The contents fall, via a discharge chute, into a bag maker or, alternatively, into a distribution system which places the product, for example, into trays.

Dispersion and feeding can be driven by any combination of vibration, gravity, belts, centrifugal force or screw systems.

Application:
confectionery, biscuits, nuts, rice, pulses, tea, coffee beans, candies / toffees, tablets, cashews, potato / banana wafers, snack foods, fresh & frozen foods, dried fruits, pasta pieces, detergents, hardware items, spices, soup mixes and sugar.

Packaging Materials:
The machine will accept most types of laminated films up to maximum of 500 gauges (125 micron). It is important that the sealing medium incorporates the best possible slip characteristics. Pure unsupported polythene film may be used with special impulse sealing equipment.
