1.Introduction of White Tea:      
White tea is one of the six traditional teas in China which is named for its unique processing method “no frying and no crushing” and is covered with white hair. Grown in the areas like Fuding, Zhenghe, Jianyang and Songxi in Fujian province, white tea is the special and typical tea in Fujian.
For years, white tea is mainly exporting to countries and areas such as Hong Kong, Germany, Japan, Holland, France, Indonesia, Singapore, Malaysia and Switzerland etc. But little was sold in China, so that only a few people know that there is white tea in China.

The special quality and flavor of White Tea is brought from its special growth place, the breed and processing method which makes it natural and elegant outside and tastes sweet and refreshing. According to different criteria in plucking, white tea has the following categories Silver needle, white peony, Gongmei and Shoumei, of which the silver needles ranks in China Top 10 Tea for its excellent quality.

White tea does not refer to black tea with milk.Like Green tea, White tea is also an unfermented tea. However, the leaves are rapidly fired and dried resulting in perhaps a purer, more "natural" state White tea contains a higher proportion of buds, which are covered with fine 'silvery' hairs that impart a light white or grey color to the tea. White tea brews to a pale yellow or light red color, and has a slightly sweet flavor with no "grassy" undertones sometimes associated with green tea.
Recent health research results have pointed that White Tea as potentially having the largest amount of health benefits of any of the Teas made from Camellia sinensis.
White Peony is also known as "Bai Mu Dan". The White Peony is made from the buds and leaves that remain after the famous Silver Needle has been harvested. Its sweet and mild, yet very full-bodied. The cup color is darker and the aroma bolder, the natural sweetness clearly identifies the close relationship to the Silver Needle.
             
2.Health Benefits:      
Without high temperature and fierce kneading in the process, only moderate autoxidation, White tea remains more nutritious elements which are very good for the human’s health. It is traditionally used to cure diseases in many places of Fujian, and presently the reasons are explained gradually by scientists:
1. Low content of free radical: redundant free radical is the key factor to the aging and disease. The other tea contents free radical more 1.6-143 times than sliver needle.
2. Highest content of flavone: flavone has the strongest anti-oxygen effectiveness. White tea contents flavone more 14.2-21.4 times than the other tea.
3. Better antimicrobial function than green tea: the extracts from white tea is good for the prevention from the infections resulted from Staphylococcus Streptolysin and pneumoniae.
4. White tea has good functions on anti-oxygen, anti-aging and prevention from skin cancer.
5. White tea can separately reduce 21.8% and 38.5% the contents of aminotransferase and malondialdehyde which can damage the liver.
