The tri-band MC8780 and MC8781 PCI Express Mini Cards, built using the MSM7200™ Mobile Station Modem™ chipset from QUALCOMM, offer uplink data rates of up to 2.0 Mbps, and downlink data rates of up to 7.2 Mbps.

The MC8780 and MC8781 PCI Express Mini Card embedded modules offer connectivity to all three HSDPA/UMTS
frequency bands (850, 1900, 2100 MHz) and all four EDGE/GPRS bands (850, 900, 1800, and 1900 MHz) used
worldwide, allowing seamless global roaming on the best available network.
