Historic Significance:

A special folk art form only available in Fengxiang County, Shaanxi province (China, mainland)

As early as Xia dynasty (2070 B.C.-1600 B.C.) and Shang dynasty (1600 B.C.-1300 B.C.), ladle was used as a kind of life appliance by ancient Chinese. It’s regarded as the "live fossil" of the Shang and Zhou Dynasties’ decoration. Also, it’s the record and inherence of the 5000 years’ splendid Chinese civilization.

Sep 6, 2010: Mr. Ma was the only person in Baoji City being invited to attend the “Shanghai World Expo” by CDPF in Shaanxi Province. Dec 2008: An article about Mr. Ma and his works was published on Hong Kong Wen Hui DailyDuring 29th Olympic Games: Collected and selected as the representative works of All-China Women's Federation and exhibited in China Millennium Monument.June 2008: Displayed in Ministry of Agriculture, PRC.         Collected by China agriculture Museum2004: Collected by Technology Center of Shaanxi Province and Shaanxi Provincial Art Gallery2003: Ladle mask with the theme of “Eight immortals crossing the sea” was collected by Taiwan's National Palace Museum
