Main Properties:

This product is a particularly processed aluminum silicate pigment and multifunctional additive widely used in latex paint, powder coating field. 

The product is made by calcination and classification which has advantages such as high in brightness, high level of opacity and sterling color, low in impurity and strong in chemical inertia,
and is easy to disperse in water and oil based structure. It can be used in water and oily paint, putty and sealed pastern.

It can improve the properties of paints such as scrub resistance, abrasion endurance, ageing resistance and stability during storage. It is especially necessary in making high solid content.

Advantages of the properties for paint industry:

- The SUPER-T-1 calcined kaolin can partially replace the costly TiO2 so as to reduce the overall cost for high level of opacity.

- It can improve the mechanical performance of the stability for stock, scrub resistance property.

- It can improve the mechanical properties such as the moisture resistance, impact resilience of the paint, abrasion endurance, ageing resistance and stability the floatation resistance capacity of the pigment during storage.

- As an inorganic thickening agent, it can lower the cost of the coating for reducing other assistant.

- The products have good intermiscibility with other paint, stuffing and assistant. It is easy to disperse while the screenings are small.

All these excellent features make SUPER-T-1 very effective extender to improve the properties of paints for production. It is especially necessary in making the paints of low VOC and high solid content.
