   Surgical suture needle with thread (synthetic absorbable suture) is a kind of suture needle, which is made of high-quality stainless steel of medical application, firmly combining with synthetic absorbable suture of medical application, applied to suture soft tissues on human body. The suture thread, employed on surgical suture needle with thread of medical application, is made of POLYDIOXANONE which molecular formula is (C4H603 )n by processing finely. The suture thread and its coat are covered with inert, non-antigenic and non-pyrogenic polymeric imide and stearic calcium. The suture and its coat can be absorbed by human body through degradation and its degradation have no reverse action on human body.

Character

Capability : Surgical suture needle with thread (synthetic absorbable suture) have perfect penetrate and tenacity character ,the needle body and suture body are with smooth surface . So it possesses such features as soft thread body, convenient tying, and strong tensile strength of thread body.

Tensile strength: Surgical suture needle with thread (synthetic absorbable suture) have more strong tensile strength than normal silk and catgut suture that braided. It will be keep about 90% on the first week since in the tissue and about 65% on the second week.

Absorbable : The absorbable character have some differences in different tissues. In general ,suture would be absorbable after 15 days ,after 30 days would be absorbable largely and it would be absolutely absorbable in 60 days to 90 days.

Biologic conformity: The suture and its coat can be absorbed by human body through   degradation and its degradation have no reverse action on human body.

Needle: round bodied, cutting ,spatula curved and so on, radian between 0 degree to 180 degree .

Scope of Application

   The suture and its coating can be degraded in human body, and the resultants of degradation won’t adversely affect human body. The suture is soft and smooth. During suturing, it doesn’t exert much pulling damage to the tissue, and it can be knotted easily and firmly. It also has excellent tensile strength and outstanding biological performance. It is widely used in the departments of general surgery, gynaecology, maternity, urology, orthopaedics, ophthalmology, stomatology, etc.

7.  Precautions

It is prohibited to be used in tissues that need permanent support, such as cardiovascular tissues, nervous tissues, etc.

It is prohibited to be used in tissues that need to maintain high tensile strength for a longer period of time (over 30 days).

It is prohibited to be used in outspreading tissues under stress.

The suture shall not be used when the pouch pack is damaged.

Please choose the right suture needle according with operation.

Be cautious to old man, hidebound patient or slow wound concrescence.

It have been sterilized with inner package not be re-sterilized.

The suture is coated that tie a knot which the thrum not less than 0.5cm.

The castoff after operation would be dispose in order to prohibited hurt .

Storage

Surgical suture needle with thread (synthetic absorbable suture) should be keeping in the environment which has wetness less than 80%,no causticity gas and 25°C room temperature.

Validity period

 It is guaranteed to safe use within 3 years of expiry date due to sterilization by ethylene oxide gas.
