Powder coating is a method by which electrically charged powder coating material is spray-applied to a grounded work piece. Electrostatic attraction holds the powder to the part to be coated until heat is added to flow the powder together and cure it.

Since powder may adhere to the part for several hours, heat curing can be done at the user's convenience. Should the uncured powder coat become damaged or blemished during handling, the powder can be simply blown off with air or vacuumed, and a new coat applied.

the main brief of the powder spray booth:

Powder booth is designed both for automatic and manual coating .Also, it is designed to convey the powder paint, which blows up excessively in the booth, into the cyclone group with the help of the 0.5m/second air speed.

The body of the powder booth, multi-cyclone group and gaining back system are made of 1.5mm or 2mm AISI 304 stainless steel. Filter group and legs are made of 1.5 or 2mm iron sheet coated with powder paint. On the both sided of the booth there are cavities for manual and automatic powder coating and there are lighting armateur in the booth and they are loated in the zero level to the booth body. The powder paint ,which is not sticked to the material, is conveyed to the cyclone group through the absorption canal that is located on the base of the powder booth. The powder paint in the hopper is transferred to the automatic sieving gaining back system and again this powder paint is conveyed to the paint gun with the help of injectors. The paint settled on filters, is shaken from filters, then the filers are sharply released with pressured air with the help of electromagnetic valves and powder paint is spilled on the hopper.

On the filter group there are radial type absorption ventilators, in the outler there are special type silencer filters, on the every group there are Teflon type filters, under the filters there are wheeled buckets to collect powder paint and on the filter group there are electromagnetic valves(PVD)for each filter, which works with pressured air.

b)      the base is made of carbon steel

c)       assemble structure,with smooth surface,which is easy to clean

d)      auto spray gun position at both sides

e)       there is a group of compressed air interface for auto guns at the center control there is electricity and air interface for the manual gun.

f)       There is a manual gun position with working platform at both sides. Below that position,there is electricity and air interface for the manual gun.
