6. How to use

a) Calculate the average of a area

e.g.: scale 1:10, unit : m 2 as on the figure 3.

1) Prepare

Choice “a” is the start point, the “a” is the approximate center of the figure. Let the red point of the tracer on the “a”.

2) Let the power “ON”, the instrument display measure 0. ,press the button of unit , we can see MODULE    cm2 , press m2/1  display MODULE   m2 , press enter display area  0.0m2 , press scale display SCALE  1:--  ,press  m2/1  cm2/0 display SCALE  1:10 , press enter display area   0.0m2 , press trace display TRACE  0.0m2,  then let the red point of the tracer according to the figure clockwise, until back to the point “a”. Press enter display S:  X.X m2 , X.X mean the area of the figure.  Press f 5 display STOCK, press m2/1 display STOCK 01 . Press enter display TRACE   0.0 m2, got the memory of the area in the m2/1 .
