Ink jet digital printing machine (inkjet printer) with “drop on demand” technology.

It has been specifically devised for printing on ceramic tiles, using pigmented and non-pigmented inks, non-water-based solutions and suspensions.

The main principle making this printer suitable and performing for being used on ceramic tiles is due to the fact that ink or color is continuously moved by the printing head; everything that could obstruct the single nozzle (polluting particles, clogs and air bubbles) is conveyed outside by the ink; thanks to this system, the suspension is maintained, dramatically reducing useless and dangerous production stops.

This flow is obtained through a special hydraulic system; polluting particles are removed by a set of filters. The absolute innovations of this new digital printer are mainly two, the first is a printing resolution of 360dpi, the second is the possibility of managing the drop dimension on 8 grey levels.

In this way, a very high and almost photographic printing quality is obtained, with very contrasting shades. The used standard is four-color printing (CMYK), but electronics and software are implemented for printing types up to eight colors.

To use these features in the best way, a powerful microcontroller electronics has been designed and produced, along with a control software with operator’s interface and a simple mechanics, to achieve top technical performance and let standard operators use it simply, in full “NEWTECH” style.
