OV140 series DC contactors can be applied for railway diesel locomotives, subway rolling stocks, EMU (electronic multiple units), DMU (diesel multiple units) and other industrial electric automation control equipment. Such DC contactors are used to control circuit in locomotives and rolling stocks.

 

The production standards comply with GB/T 21413.1-2008/IEC 60077-1:1999; GB/T 21413.2-2008/IEC 60077-2:1999; and TB/T 2767-1996.

 

Magnetic coil of such DC contactors is equipped with voltage suppressor which can inhibit the self-induced electromotive force of the coil. Working indicator light is equipped to show the working status of the contactor. Due to advanced contact module, auxiliary contact has fast-moving, self-cleaning and sealing characteristics.

Models Selection

 

1-  Coil control voltage of OV140 series DC contactors can be DC 24V, 48V, 74V and 110V, and coil working voltage is between 80% and 110%.

2-  External wiring mode is below:

     Main Contact:     M6 Screw (OV140A-1 & OV140C-2 contactors)

                                M5 Screw (OV140A-2 & OV140C-1 contactors)

     Coil Wiring:         M4 Screw

     Auxiliary Contact: M3 Screw

3-  Generally, the contactor is equipped with 2 sets of main contact (2 NO, or 1 NO + 1 NC) and 2 sets of auxiliary contact (2 NO + 2 NC).

4-  When voltage suppressor is parallel connected to two ends of coil, wiring should be as per polarity signs.

5-  If main contact of the contactor is permanent magnet and in arc distinguishing mode, wiring should be as per polarity signs.
