1.  Technical Introduction

This technology provides online reclamation and resource recovery system for spent acidic etchant in PCB plants. The system doesn’t discharge spent etchant to the environment and can recover copper from spent etchant. Meanwhile, the spent etchant can be reused. Acidic etchant doesn’t need to be pretreated and directly enter into electrolytic cell to be electrolyzed to get min. 99% purity copper powder at negative electrode where spent acidic etchant has been 100% reused.

It' s applied to spent acidic etchant reclamation and resource recovery in PCB plants.

 

3.  Equipment Introduction

3.1 Process flow

The spent acidic etchant is directly sent into electrolytic cell where has been divided into anode chamber and cathode chamber by ionic membrane. The anolyte (spent acidic etchant) will enter into etching production system after electrolytic oxidation

and the catholyte(adjusting solution) will produce high purity electrolytic copper after electrolyzation.
