To sort the event messages: 1 From the Event Configuration Editor window, select the Sort menu bar heading. 2 Select the sort type. If the menu option By Light Status is selected, an additional menu is displayed with the four lamp colors. Select a color. 3 When the timer icon disappears, the sort is complete. Exit Select the Exit menu bar heading to close the Event Configuration Editor window. If changes were made that were not saved, the following message is displayed. The records can be printed or copied to an ASCII file. Each time a product is loaded, a record of product run management informa-tion is generated. Each record is added to a database of user-defined size. When the maximum size is reached, older records are automatically deleted to create space for newer records. Select the Management Information icon from the IM-UPS main screen to open the Management Information window. The window can be configured to match your needs. Refer to the topic titled Configuration later in this mod-ule. Data Use the Data menu bar heading to perform a variety of data file-related tasks. The Data pulldown menu options are: . Current Product . Open . Save . Save As . Export ASCII File . Refresh . Clear Management Data . Add Data to Database . Copy . Delete . Information . Print TECHNICALP UBLICATIONS 47115802 Rev. A Management Information Current Product Use the Current Product menu option to display the Management Information window in its default format, with information relative to the current product. Performing an event, such as opening a file, changes the window content, and it is after such an event that you may want to redisplay the window with the current product information. To redisplay the current product information: 1. From the Management Information window, select: Data > Current Product Open Use the Open menu option to open a file containing management informa-tion. Once opened, the file can be updated or saved under a different name. To open a data file: 1. From the Management Information window, select: Data > Open The Open Management Data dialog box is displayed. 2. Select the file that you want to open and select OK. Once a file is se-lected the management information windows are updated with the data from the file. TECHNICAL PUBLICATIONS Management Information 47115802 Rev. A Save Use the Save option to save any data modifications that you make. If you at-tempt to leave the Management Information window without performing a Save, the system prompts you by asking if you really want to exit without saving your data. To save Management Information window changes: 1. From the Management Information window, select: Data > Save Save As Use the Save As command to save a file under a different name or in a differ-ent directory, without affecting the original name or location of the file. This menu option is similar to the Copy command in that the end result is having two identical, but differently-named files. To save a data file under a different name: 1. From the Management Information window, select: Data > Save As The Save Management Data As dialog box is displayed. 2. The current target directory path is displayed. Make your path selec-tion, and then enter your file name in the Data File data field. TECHNICALP UBLICATIONS 47115802 Rev. A Management Information Note that a .MDF extension is automatically added to the file name, al-though this extension does not appear in the file names displayed in the Data Files list box. 3. Select OK. The Description dialog box is displayed: 4. You can enter a file description of up to 64 characters. Any entry in this field is optional. 5. Select OK. Export ASCII File Use the Export ASCII File to copy an existing data file to an ASCII format file. To export a file as an ASCII file: 1. From the Management Information window, select: Data > Export ASCII File The Description dialog box is displayed. 2. The optional Description data field may or may not already contain an entry when this dialog box is displayed. If there is an entry, you can keep it, change it, or delete it. If there is no entry, you can either make an entry up to 64 characters long, or leave the field blank. Select OK. The Export Management Data As dialog box is displayed. 3 The current target directory path is displayed. Make your path selec-tion, and then enter your file name in the Data File data field. The .TXT extension is automatically added to the file name. 4 Select OK to export the file to the selected directory. Refresh Use the Refresh menu option to replace any data currently displayed, regard-less of the source, with the current product data. To refresh management information data: 1 Data > Refresh Refresh occurs as soon as the menu option is selected. Clear Management Data Use the Clear Management Data menu option to reset all current product tim-ers and counters. To clear management data:
