Purpose and scope

The instrument is designed and made as per GB/T266 Test Methods for Engler Viscosity of Petroleum Products in the National Standard of Peoples Republic of China, T0622 Asphalt Engler Viscosity Test (Engler Viscometer Method) in the Industry Standard JTJ052 Test Regulation for Highway Asphalt and Asphalt mixture of Peoples Republic of China, and Company Standard of Shanghai Q/YXY11 Engler Viscometer. It is suitable to determine ratio between the time used by a liquid flowing out of Engler viscometer under a certain temperature and volume, and that of distilled water flowing out of Engler viscometer at 20 . The ratio is the Engler viscosity of liquids. The instrument can determine two samples at same temperature environment and can calculate average value of the two samples. It is the best choices to determine Engler viscosity of petroleum products and asphalt products.
